SRS Code 52
Can anyone tell me what a code 52 is in the SRS system. I had the light come on, have pulled the code and reset, but it returns. I can't seem to find the meaning of that particular code. Thanks in advance
Forgot to mention, this is a 95 Accord EX, 2.2 VTEC, auto trans.

Do you mean the CEL or the SRS light?
I'm not sure that there are any individual codes for the SR System. The CD7 Shop manual starts with the SR System component description, parts description, and then goes right into the 3 stages for trouble shooting.
According to the shop manual there are 3 stages to the SRS light
1. The SRS light doesn't come on at all (during initial vehicle start-up)
2. The SRS light stays on constantly.
3. SRS light comes on in conjunction with the failure of another electrical system. (Charging system light) Check for damaged/corrosion @ the under dash fuse/relay box connector.
If you have the third situation that would be an easy fix. If it's one of teh other two your going to need a manual and a multimeter that's output is 10 mA (0.01 A) or less when switched to the smallest value on the meters range. A meter with a higher output than that could result in damage to the system of worse the airbags could deploy. $$$$ & possible injury.

Well I found this list for the Acura SR System tonight. It's good to know there is a list out there somewhere for an SRS. My manual doesn't have any of this.
