Default Speed sensor problem

my speedometer has been broken in my 90 accord ex since I bought it. Today I went to honda and bought a speed sensor for $150.00. I thought that it was on the top of the trans near the header. But its not. Does anyone know where it is located?? A pic would be great help too.

It is on the passenger side of where the rear engine braket bolts up to the tranny. It is almost right undernieth the shifter cables, so it may be really hard to see.

there are two different speed sensors, ont for the power steering, and one for the odometer, the one 2.6 is talking about is the power steering, if that is the one you are replacing you will also need a bottle of fluid.

Actually this is the one for the Speedo. It also has the Hydraulic lines for the speed sensitive steering.

no I thought the one in the rear was only for the power steering, I am now thinking I was wrong. And I miswrote earlier, I meant spedometer and wrote odometer. After looking again at my Haynes I see that I thought the back up light switch was the spedo/ sensor
