i have a 97 accord LX i have this problem i rolled down the window and now i cant roll it back up. and i cant press out the car in gear?? help me

 

Seems to me that your window motor died, one of my back windows died a few months ago, its not cheap to fix at all, quite frankly it was a pain in the ***. I dont understand your second part

First check the main window switch and clean the contacts inside. A lot of people replace the window motor and find out afterwards that it was the switch.

 

i know in my brothers case (1991 Mercury Cougar) it wasnt the switch or the motor.....it was the black peice of material wehre the window slides into, the little rubbery piece i guess for insulation, it had lost all the felt on the inside and his window would get stuck/bonded tot eh rubber until you broke it loose

 

like you know how the car for an automantic is push the brakes and put the car in gear this one cant do that. and i think that the window witch is still good i think its the relay but who knows..

 

is your car idleing high? i know if it has a high idle that sometimes it wont go into gear.

 

It could be your window regulator. Usually you can get a complete replacement cheaper. I take it you got an automatic. Check your brake switch. Can you move the gears in and out with the slit deal on the shift column?
