Reverse Issue
I have a 1999 Accord EX. The car is a 2.3 and I'm having some issues with the transmission. In particular, when you run the car for 30-45 minutes total and then try to back up, the car acts like it has the emergency brake on. At that time, you can press the pedal down as much as you want to, but get no more speed out of it. I noticed that it will not go above 2200 RPM or so either. When it is not behaving this way, it will go above 2200 in reverse. I have taken to dealer and can't reproduce the problem, and the car has 88500K on it.
Any suggestions?
