got pulled over tonight, police officer warned me of my tailights and that they were not met to the needs of the law, he didnt give me a ticket. you have to understand that i have the ones that are all clear and what i did was paint a line of translucent paint across the brake bulb. it seemed to work for about 2 months and then this cop came along and did something about it. As soon as i got home i changed back to the stock lights and i think this is how its going to be for awhile unless i decide to strip the red stripe of paint and apply some red bulbs. But when i do this what color does the bulb have to be that signals that you have your lights on while you driving?? And on the front of a 94 accord ex can you make the turn signals that are originally orange clear and not have to change the bulbs on both the bottom and top corner turn signals??? And last can the rear side markers be clear??? because ive heard of them having the be red and cant be clear. thanks

 

i know that where i am from you cannot change the color of any signal. You can change the lens to clear but the bulb must be the color the lens used to be. They are not that hard on front turn signals but will bust your *** for clear side markers and any tailight. That is because with clear lights in those places, as compared to the front, it creates a hazard for other drivers not being able to clearly see where your car is.

and i have everything cleared except mah tail lights..i have atezzas....but anywayz
when i got pulled over he told me mah corners and mah rear side markere are
illegal....he said that there has to be a reflector on them or sumptin....i had hyper lights bulbs on mah corners n mah side markers...he told me it has to be amber...he said
mah car is too blue....but i asked about mah bumber lights which is mah turn signal lights and he said it's legal having clear bumber lights w/hyper bulbs in it..... so i guess its alrite have em...

Go back to stock everywhere and never worry about such stupid things ever again.

 

Clear tails are just begging for the cops to pull u over. Go with red/clears/S-types/ or the factory lights.

 

think ill just buy some bulbs for the front turns and then get some street llegal tailights thanks
