You'll have a nice unpainted spot the next time you get your wheels balanced. Congrats.

I didn't want to be the first one to say it.
Why don't you just get some kick on chrome and be done with it?

Look aight'... if you prepared the wheels properly, the paint should stay there for some time.

1) No it wasn't sand blasted, I just sanded it with some 320 grit paper.
2) You really think it looked better unpainted and rustic looking?
3) Would you have preferred that I painted them like ricer orange or something?
4) I know that I would have an unpainted spot if I got them balanced, however, these are just wheels that I am driving around on until I can afford my new rims, and I don't plan on getting them balanced again.
5) I had some "chrome," but my car was stolen and they jacked my rims and tires...these are my temp. wheels.

Anyway, I did it because I was bored and it killed some time. Thanks for you comments, positive or negative.

I think that would look hella ghetto. I wasn't trying to fix these up and make them look like good rims, I was just trying to make them not look like crap.

It looks ok if you like it. I would have gone all out with clearcoat, to make them shine a little. And the smoother you can get the finish the easier they will be to clean. Try to make the paint a little smoother, more coats, and a clearcoat on top. Have fun
