Default problem possible solution?

i had a 95 accord lx and i swapped it for a 97 acura cl engine. it went from a 2.2l nonvtec to a 2.2l vtec. i am wondering do i need an obd2 ecu or should a obd1 ecu work for my car. it is bugging me. i found one online so i would like to know so i can get my car running again.

Default Re: problem possible solution? (HaNsElBaDaSs)

ok heres his problem (or at least what I think) looked at the car today. He is running a 97 jdm acura cl engine. Checked for spark- none, fuel- none. looked what ecu he was running and he is trying to run a obd1 94 accord ecu with that motor. I think thats his problem because I am pretty sure that motor is obd2. Correct me if im wrong but that should definately get him going in the right direction.
