Default Please Help

Hi everyone. My 95 Accord was recently hit and there is 1 major dent in the back panel and the back bumper and my 2 front panels so Im looking at 3000$ to have it all fixed and paint matched. I found a guy that works at the same good body shop and he said he will trade me straight up and I wont have to pay nothing but he wont replace it with new factory panels he just wants to pull the dents and buff it he said that buffing has come along way and I wont even be able to tell it will look brand new and he will give me a new paint job for 900$ Honda Factory gold. What would you Honda Pro's do?

Thanks

Learn to use punctuation.

j/k...

I'm not sure what you are asking. Your going to get it buffed then painted? Painted or buffed? What? I'm not a body work genius so if a shop has a good local rep. I'll usually take their suggestion.

For the love of pete use some punctuation.

Buffing has come a long way?WTF. Ok. If he wants to remove the dents its going to crack the paint in the process if it isnt already. He cant buff cracked paint.

Yo sorry what im asking is would you pay 3000$ to have it fixed with new Honda Factory panels and match the paint but not paint the whole car. Or would you have them pull the dents buff them out and full new paint job? And Im asking what DO YOU THINK ON PULLING DENTS AND BUFFING THEM OUT is it a good idea?

Thanks!

you are using the term 'buff' completely wrong. Pulling the dents out, flattening it out, and repainting it, is what I imagine you're trying to get to. Which means he'll probably have to bondo it.

Guess it depends on money, I would want new panels.

Sorry dont know much about this body repair ****. What is wrong with Bondo? And pulling them out flatening them and smoothing them and then painting the whole car? Will you be able to notice? Please explain?

Thanks

Is it better to have new panels put on and have them try to match the paint and then eventually get a whole new paint job when i get the money.

Thanks
