Passenger Side Mirror Replacement
I side swipped somebody at parking lot speeds last week in my right side blind spot. Thanks to Honda's retractable mirrors the mirror housing was fine but the glass piece inside came off and shattered on the ground.
Do I have to replace the entire mirror or can I just get a glass piece from a junkyard and be able to replace it?

take the panel off (pry it off gently with a flathead) of the mirror on the inside, unbolt, unplug then remove. installation is the reverse. who knows why they're priced as they are...
What year Accord are you talking about?
Power = power side mirrors, you can change the angle using a little toggle on the driver's door.
Manual = not power, you have to change the angle with your hand.
When you order the mirror you will specify the color code, it will come prepainted to match your car (assuming you have the original paint). Cost is about $200 MSRP, you can buy it for around $160 online (the power one) - I have replaced both of mine on my '99.
Replacement - assuming you have a power side mirror, you will need to take the inside panel off of the door. Then take off the triangular piece of trim on the inside, opposite the mirror. Remove the three bolts and the mirror comes off.

Hello All,
I need to replace the glass of the passenger side mirror of my wife 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Looking at the posted website I found the replacement: 2774602 002 1 MIRROR SUB-ASSY., R. (R1400) (HEATED) which I think is the correct part.
Does anyone know how to remove the cracked glass and install this?
Thanks for the help,
Mike
