Odometer Broken, help???
1994 Accord EX analog odometer/trip counter is broken. Can anyone help me fix it? Is there a cable or some kind of sending unit I have to replace? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks and Happy New Year folks!

Re: Odometer Broken, help??? (iam7head)
Well, I was trying to avoid an EXPENSIVE repair bill from the dealership. Just hoping this is something I can do myself. Thanks.

96accordex, thanks, but no thanks, I think that treads closer along the lines of odometer fraud. I appreciate the offer though.

Did it just stop randomly?? or did you install indiglo gauges or tweak with it in anyway. Pull out the gauge unit and check the wiring.. That sounds weird

Re: Odometer Broken, help??? (SlowAssAccord)
SlowAssAccord, nope the car is totally stock. I may just pull it out and check connections. Hopefully that doesn't require disassembling the entire dash just to get to it!

Re: Odometer Broken, help??? (DrunkNRacer)
I just bought a 94 accord and I have the same problem. I know the guy I bought it from pretty well but it is stuck at 159999 and just as it was starting to roll over it quit.... You guys say there is no simple fix to this?
