Default Many Problems

Well here we go. I will give the list and hopefully some of you know what to do to fix it. The accord is a 92 LX Coupe.

1. Car shakes when I go into reverse.

2. When I idle, it seems that the car is always reving itself. Because of this, if I come to a sudden stop at a stop sign then the car with stall.

3. I hit a ditch the other day and the whole right side of the car got scrapped on the ground. Now you get a high pitch sound from the front right tire. Anything loose?

4. My fuel gauge doesn't work. Any way to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

1. Check for broken/worn motor mounts

2. Check the idle air control valve. it may need cleaning or replacing.

3. I would guess that something is bent, like the dust shield behind the rotor, but the only way to find out is to take the wheel off and look. I'm assuming it squeels at all speeds, whether or not the brakes are applied.

4. Probably your fuel level sending unit. If this is the cause, you'll need to replace it.

bolted onto the back side of the intake manifold, near the throttle body. it should have 2 small hoses running to it (rad fluid runs through them).
