Loud engine
I've got a 1991 Accord EX that runs great, but the engine is way too loud. Is there something I can put on the hood (or elsewhere) that can give me a quieter ride?

Check your exhaust manifold for a leak, and your exhuast. I had a similiar instance where my engine sounded loud, When I bought new headers, I found that there was a leak between my exhaust manifold and block, fortunately I fixed it when I installed the header. Never know about it, because it was hiding behind the head shield, and I couldn't see the black soot building up. hope that helps.

Make sure there are no cracks in your exhaust manifold also, had to replace mine not to long also. You will probally have to take off your head shield to look.

What part of the engine is really loud? The intake? The exhaust?
