You really don't need to do anything special, just make sure you get the conical LEDs instead of regular dome shape LEDs so they disperse light more evenly...and get as many LEDs as possible per socket since they don't project light in the same way halogens would.

I wouldnt recommend LEDs for bulb replacment on the outside of the car if you're thinking of it, they don't fill up the housings like a halogen would becuase of the direction of their lighting patterns so it's bad for traffic...

I know someone who did it on her 04 coupe 4cyl, I can ask her the difficulty. Also, both she and I have put LED lights under the dash, it looks very nice at night, and I intend on putting them elsewhere in the car.

As far as bulb replacement in your headlights, my Hyper Xenon lights are amazing, lights up the road much better and isn't the dingy yellow factory bulbs.

For replacement your bulbs with LEDs, it is a litle more complicated than just replacing a bulb. LEDs need resistors soldered to them in order for it to work.
For the dome light and courtesy light on your door panel, they have some pre-made which sell on ebay. Or you can do a little soldering work.
As for the one in front of the dash, which one do you mean? The map light? same thing as above.

They do make direct change LED's for the tail lights, marker lights, signal bulbs.

1157, 2057, 94 are the common bulbs

these come in a 9, 12, and 16 LED light set except for the 94's they come in a single or tripple LED

There was an Ebay seller (dont remember name) that sells the full kit for all the LED light swaps. Dash, Doors, Overhead, accent, tail, ect..... So you would not have to make any of the lights yourself. They do it for you and send you a kit with all the lights coverted to LED. Then you just swap them out for the factory bulbs that are in there now.

So do an ebay search and you should be able to find them.

Like I said...exterior bulbs are a nono. LED lights are directional...the light goes where the LED puts it. Filament based halogen bulbs spread light in all directions because they are open. This spreads the light throughout the reflector and also out...something an LED will not do.

Interior bulbs are ok if you get conical LEDs...yes they offer bulb applications, and I use superbrightleds.com for my LED purchases.

You don't really need the resistors on interior LEDs because they work regardless...it will shorten their life but not much more. On the other hand, on exterior bulbs such as signal and brake lights, they will be mistaken for nonfunctioning bulbs because they draw such low current and thus you need to add in the resistors.
