no. you just need to undo the cotter pins, unbolt the shifter cable bracket on the tranny, undo 2 bolts on the rear sub frame (if it is bolted down there), 2 behind the heat shield, and 2 c-clips on the shifter assembly. I think accords from 90-2002? or 90-97 have the exact same style with minor differences so that should be about right.

Have D1-neutral............Reverse and park not working.....grinding for both....but not going into park or reverse.

check ur fluid, if u havnt changed it den change it...also if it isnt that then u will need to rebuild that tranny or get another one.
