JDM Conversion ?s
Ok people! I am trying to do a JDM conversion on my '96 Accord Cpe, minus the right hand drive. My goal is not to be stock JDM, but what a fixed up Accord in Japan might be. So far I have the JDM headlights, JDM badges, Rota Slipstreams (I know, Rota=fake JDMs, but I don't want to ride around on expensive rims and then something happen to them), and a Greddy EVO cat. back. Right now I have an H22A motor from a Japanese Prelude reaserved for me, and I am gonna do the swap within the next few months. I know I still need to get the side markers, the front grill, and the spoiler, but that will also come within the next couple of months. Is there anything else I need to get, or does someone know a site that has pics of Japanese Accords? I have searched everywhere, but I can't find anything. Also, does anyone know how the JDM corners and side markers blink in relation with the stock bumper lense blinker? Do the side markers and corners blink, or what? Please help. Thanks!

dont forget the accord SI badges or the type r badges, i think the 5th gens had a si badge that looks like the lx or ex badges that come on the car. u can find them at http://www.optauto.com or anyplace like that

your going to need folding mirrors and some more trim items. I've seen Mugen catalogs for 94/95/96/97 Accord on ebay. There's an amazing lip spoiler for my 4dr that's just Bad ***.
For my next car (TSX), my friend is bringing me back a Mugen catalog for the JDM Accord from Japan tomorrow. Hehe...
If you want to see how they do them, look in an old CarBoy magazine from that era (if you have access to them). If you don't know what I'm talking about...don't worry about it...it's all in Japanese

Right, the badges I have are from Options. They are the "Accord Coupe" and the "SiR" bagdes. I don't think I'm gonna put the "SiR" badge on until I swap the motor though. Folding mirrors I have, unless the stock Accord ones are different.? I don't know. But hey Rotary, if you find any pics of some Japanese Accords, could you email me some of them? Thanks for the help! Is there anything else I need to know about the JDM Accords?
