Idle problems
Well we cleared the codes finally and when we turned it on last night it sounded good but when we reved it up a little and let of it started to idle higher and higher and we finally cut it but it was reaching like 4000 rpm
I know users can just search for your thread about your codes to find out what car you have but you should really make it a point to say what year/model car you have and what swap if any. It's makes it quicker and easier.
Sorry about that i have a 94 ' accord Ex and we are swapping a JDM H22A 94' prelude motor in and i am having the problem stated above. We just got through clearing the codes.
an air leak can cause idles that high, but you would be able to hear it if you payed attention to the intake manifold.
Edit: check your throttle as well, your throttle could stick and you might not know it, pull off the intake pipe and watch the throttle. if that's not stuck then I stick to my previous statement. It could also be the IACV or FITV.
