I have an 2002 Honda Accord SE, Auto, 4cyl that came up with a problem just today when I turned it on. that car was in use just about an hour and a half so it was still a little warm and when I turned it on, it started to rev up by itself up and down and wouldn't stop reving between 900 and 2200 RPM. IS IT THE TPS??

Make sure all of your vaccume hoses are connected.

 

that and could be your IAC. clean engine bay BTW. im assuming you have low miles since your car is a 2002. most IAC problems happen with more miles.

 

The car was used alot....it has 103650 miles on it
so did you think it can the IAC

 

I removed a sensor that was sitting on the firewall near the fuse box that had two hoses connected to it and one connection to it and the car stopped having the problem....?????????????
