Re: offset with 225 tires? (urbanlegend21)
how did they feel?
i run 205/50-16's right now, but i want to auto-x with the 15's and maybe just keep them on all the time and sell the 16's.

i haven't run with them yet, the tires were Victoracers V700 so I couldn't take them on the street that day but the tire size will give you a larger contact patch on the pavement which is always a good thing
15" wheels and tires are a good thing becuase it will shorten your gearing and help low end accelration a little bit, which is good for autocross
Truechoice Stage II: Ground Control Coilovers/Eibach springs -300 front 350 rear
Koni Yellow damper adjustable shocks
Suspension Techniques Rear Sway bar
DC Sports front Strut bar, upper
wheel gap is actually not that bad, but my concern with wheel gap is not based on looks. I actually raised my car up a half inch because I was starting to drive hard enough on the track to rub in high G corners

damn ive heard nothing but good things about the true-choice product. hmmm, i wont be able to do that. im just going to end up buying GC's. i already have koni yellows, so i just need the good springs.
im not concerned with looks either. i am building my car strictly for auto-X.

Re: offset with 225 tires? (exaccord)
How does the true-choice product differ from ordering directly from ground control? Are they the same stuff? Reason i'm asking is that I have a set of konis on stock springs right now and am looking to buy some coil overs soon.
urbanlegend21: what kind of spring rates are you using?, if you don't mind me asking.

Re: offset with 225 tires? (jdmbike)
no problem
300 front 350 rear
if you get much higher than that you need revalved shocks to handle the rates
the only difference is the most popular and well known truechoice setup includes the Koni shocks/struts
truechoice does offer setups without getting shocks, you can buy alomost anything you want from them
