just bought a 94 honda accord ex vtec!! but the problem is that the horn, door lock switch, overhead light and dashboard lights does not work. everything else works like the windows cigerette lighter ect. ect.

Have you checked the fuses first? Check the under-hood fuse box.

For the under-hood fuse, no. 30 fuse (20A) for the horn, no. 32 (15A) for the dash lights, etc., no. 32 (20A) for the power locks, no. 37 (7.5A) for ceiling light, etc.

 

ya i checked the fuses and they are all good even the ones inside the car.

 

Does this have an alarm system installed.....redbull-1 knows the answers. I'm just trying to get more details.

 

Troubleshoot each system individually. I'm betting you have 4 seperate problems.

 

U guys think not having a radio will effect it??? Cause online people started having electrical problems when they removed the radio

 

Generally, no. You might have electrical problems if the wires were cut and not properly insulated which may cause a short; for example, if a positive (+) bare wire touch metal or ground.

The best advice is DEluth' advice to troubleshoot each system separately. For example, using a multimeter, test light, etc. and following troubleshooting steps from a service manual.
