Ok ladies and gents... i have a 92 honda accord dx 2.2L.
the old tcu that was in it decided to catch fire, thus causing me to have to buy a new one.
i got the new one, well, new to me (re-manufactured), and plugged it in. got all excited to have all my gears again, turned the key to on, no d4 light. yay!

then i actually started the car and the D4 light came on and here i am again having to shift it myself with 2nd and 4th.

heres what i done.....
-new tcu
-checked solenoids, all good
-checked all wiring and cpu, all good
-everything else i found on every other forum and still no avail.

should i try to exchange the tcu for another one in hopes it is the tcu?
or just give up on life
