I use to have that issue, but then I cannot say really which part caused it. I replaced my:

Fuel Pressure Regulator
Injector Resistor
O2 Sensor
Coil
and Cleaned out all the SLUDGE that was sitting in my intake from the Oil collection (otherwards known as blow by)

Seeing as I got this car used and was highly neglected. I am still putting this car back to where it should have been. At the rate this is going. I could have built a new one.

I would suspect marginal fuel pressure, perhaps the fuel filter needs replacement. Fuel pressure regulator might also cause the problem. Check that regulator vacuum line is in place and there's not a strong smell of fuel in the vacuum line. If yes, then replace regulator.

You could measure fuel pressure, if you have the fittings, but the fuel filter is inexpensive and if it's never been done, it's cheap and won't hurt anything.

good luck
