Default h22a problem

Ive got an 94 sccord LX 5spd. I just finished the swap using the accord engine harness. Ive got an 93-95 H22A motor, tranny, ecu (P13).

The problem Im having is the car starts, but idles very choppy at 1K. Wont rev past 3K. CEL is on but wont give any codes. Ive already replaced the dizzy, plugs, coil, a different ecu (P72 chipped) we know for a fact works, and a dizzy that works for a fact. the dizzy and ecu we took out of my friends accord with the same swap.

I swapped the pins A6-A11, added both wires for VTEC, and knock sensor. my motor didnt come with the secondary intake bypass sensor. could that be my problem?

Oh and the car does the same thing with the stock ecu also.

Thanks for any help or info

CEL is on but won't give any codes? Double check again and make sure you are checking the codes correctly.

this may sound stupid but this just happened to my accord (less the h22 swap) and it turned out to jus be running like **** because of the spark wires was mis-firing. Also check your injectors.

i had a jeep that ran like this and turns out the fuel pump/filter was bad...also spark plugs were misfiring, but that's what was causing them to...worth a looksee!

it might be that your wiring harness is hooked up to the wrong things. check tps particularily. make sure that 2 plugs arent backwards or something. some of those plugs clip right into the wrong things. also something to note. there is 2 plugs on the intake that are both green.
good luck

you are 100% correct gofast. And they ARE both on the intake just as you stated. As a matter of fact, the iac and i believe fast idle connectors are interchangeable. I had the same problem. Ran like crap, we had accidentally swapped them while looming the harness. This didnt restrict my rpms to 3k, however it didnt want to run or idle very well. is the tps voltage set correctly?

When acclerating, does the car shake or vibrate real hard? I had that problem as well, to remedy, I used the accord spline and slid it over the prelude knuckles. I also did it this way because we were going from auto to manual. I have a different gen accord, so the instances may be different on this topic as well. Hope this helps.
