engine type.
im getin this done all in one post so it migtht be long. i own a 1991 accord ex just wondern what motor is in it . i think its a soch non vtech but if someone could tell me differen that would be great.also if anyone else has this car or 91 accord type lx just wondering where did you put your fog lights,if you could post a pic that would be great ?also i was lookng at cat back exhaust for my car now. does it go from my head to my catylictic converter and then then the rest or with a cat back do i just take out the catylictic converter. if any one could explain what a cat back exhaust is.that would be cool.
You'd think that the name "Cat-back" would be pretty self explanitory. But anyways, it goes from your catalytic converter back...the part you were referring to coming off your "head" (lol) is called a "header" (or exhaust manifold), and is not included in a Cat-Back exhaust system (let me also suggest taking a look at where exactly the header comes off the motor...and then take a look at the difference between the block and the head, the names of the parts will start making more sense).
The other questions i'll leave to someone else...though im pretty sure your engine is an F22 of some sort, SOHC non-VTEC.

not real sure on what motor you have but AccordinglyDone has a Data section where you can find that info. Or you should be able to look at the front of you block about half way down where the tranny and the block meet, there should be a raised area on the block side where you can find the engine model and the serial number I believe.
As for cat-back exhausts. A cat-back exhaust is an exhaust system that runs from the catylitic converter back. The cat is obviously the cat and before the cat is your header. Take a look at this thread, it's explained further. Scroll down to the second post, fw190bvi explains about exhaust systems, that should answer your question.
also, V-TECH is a phone. V-TEC is what some Honda motors have.

b4 you go over board whith cash, just get a header,{DC 4-2-1 2 peice} and a muffler. AKA "fart can, coffee can, etc". dont spend over $160 for everthing. look on Ebay. and go get a Chilton manual or a Hains manual. so you know what your doing. Good luck and have fun.

I wouldn't buy anything until you decide what your plan for this car is. Are you going to stick with your current motor? Maybe build it up a little? Or are you going to swap for an H series or another F series? If you are going to swap, I wouldn't buy anything for this motor that can't be used with the motor your swapping to. For example, if you do decide to swap, the new motor will most likely require a different header from your current one.
Also, I probably wouldn't buy just a muffler, get some piping to go with it. Most, not all, that I see like that around here are loud and annoying. A friend has just a muffler on his Accord and it sounds good, but most people I see with just a muffler sounds nasty.
About the service manuals, how much work do you plan on doing to your car yourself? If you plan on doing things like removing the motor, changing the timing belt, water pump and other major jobs like that, I would go with a Helm Inc. manual. They cost more but they are well worth the added cost. They have very detailed instructions for your specific model and year. If you don't plan on doing major work on your car and just sticking to oil changes and stuff like that then a Chiltons or Haynes manual with do you just fine.

you should first search, then if you still can't find what your looking for then you should post a new topic for your question instead of hijacking someone elses thread.

thanks much
thanks much
for plug wires, I wouldn't spend the extra money on the MSD ones since they aren't going to do anything extra for you. I would just go with stock wires from Honda.
As for air filters... go with K&N.
