Engine Swaps?
Hi,
I'm getting a 4 Cylinder Accord and was just curious what engine swaps are available if I ever want more potential for it to be fast. I've heard that a H22 from a Prelude is a really good drop. What other swaps are their that are straight drop ins?

ummmm search....this has to be the most covered topic in the accord forum since I joined.
H22 is the best bet for the money right now... People also do JDM F22's, F20's, and someday K swaps should be common (haven't seen any yet though).
Also what year/model is the accord you are planning on getting?

H22 if your'e in desperate need of power and need the VTEC to impress
Boost if your short on cash or love boost
Nos if your really short on cash
Single cam vtec f22 swap if your just looking for something simple i guess, some people say its worth, some say no
F20/22 S2k motor, haha had to say this one because of the recent debate in the accord forums on wheter or not it would be possible/worth it
And hopefully the K, i would love to see a k24 in a accord any gen

I'm probably going to either get a 5th Generation Coupe or a 7th Generation Coupe (Not a huge fan of the wide tail lights on the 6th Generation Coupe). Anyways, are the H22 swaps available in the 7th Gens? I'm assuming you can in the 5th Gens but not sure about the 7th's since their newer.
