Default Engine Replacement

I was just asking for comments regarding an engine change. My Honda 95 engine is about to give out. It rattles and make plenty of noise when accelerating. If I go through the trouble of getting a low milage engine and getting it installed by a professional, will I be satisfied with my car? Just asking because I know that a lot of people have made a swap, just asking if it was worth it.

Thinking about getting the same or an upgrade to a V-tec. (Right now I have a non v-tec)

Thanks,
Blue95

an h22 may be worth it...i mean, i don't think swapping in the f22b1 would necessarily be worth it as the extra 10hp isn't really anything special...you may want to read up on doing this yourself though to save some money...

If the rest of the car is up to snuff, and you plan on keeping it for a while, then by all means it's worth it.
The only other consideration would be the cost of anticipated repairs shortly down the road; that and the cost of swapping in an engine might not make the best economic sense.
The H22 swap into the 5th gen is done every day
