Default engine

hey guys i was wonding what engine is better to boost the f22b2 , the f22b or the f22b1 vtec i plan on using the drag turbo kit and building the engine up and boosting between 12 and 18 pounds of boost please help

dont get me wrong they make great induction motors and all...its just that they do come from factory NA...**** happens @ 500 hp whoever tells you otherwise doesn't know ****...the only advice i can offer is keep your boost moderate 300 horsepower is all you need for the street...

f22b2 .. although your going to have to upgrade on your engine because it won't handle 18psi stock.

Either one are boost friendly because of low compression. Id probably opt for the f22b2 so you don't have to worry about vtec. I mean I don't think its as big as a problem in sohc vtec that it is in dohc vtec. Turboing that much psi will require great fuel management and internal modifications. be ready to spend a lot of money.

honestly from wut i kno id say boost the dohc f22b first off dohc not to say thas everything but u can definitely feel and see the difference once u get into higher numbers.Im doin a dohc head swap probably this weekend comin up cant wait to get rid of this lousy sohc. <y have 1 when u could have 2>sohc vtec motors
