electrical problems

Default electrical problems

yea i just drop in a h22a in my 4th gen. accord, and i started having problems with my power in side my car. like all the gauges flicker with the blinkers on, my head lights are real low and light even looks like it dont even work, also all my dials just drop while im driving so i have to guess my speed. i change the alternator and the battery. so what else can it be? please i need help.

hmmm...double check the grounds man. take a voltmeter with you. grounds are hella sensative, if they are not just right they will act funky.

It sounds like the ground has a loose or bad contact. make sure the contact is secure and make sure the contact surface is clean. Also you may be pulling to much power....... I don't know if you have a system and all but if you are drawing alot of base power or just alot of electrical in general you may need to get a cap or maybe upgrade your battery and altenator. just my opinion.

my swap is doing the same thing.. like my speedo and tach shut off sometimes.. and i'm pritty sure its the grounds... specificly the ground right under the distributor on the trany... it has to be the grounds i think.

buy a voltmeter while your at it! i would say im 99% sure its a bad ground connection(s). my voltmeter was one of the best things ive bought for my car...
