Default Driverside engine mount/bracket problem.

I'm driving a 1999 H22 accord. I'm using the stock engine mounts. However, the bracket on the driver side does not line up with the H22. I'm currently driving around with one screw. I know that areyouasian made a customized bracket, in which he shaped and drilled a solid piece of steel. I don't have the tools, and I don't know anyone who customizes this particular part. I remember reading that someone used a 97+ prelude bracket, but I can't find the post.

Could someone please help me out?

Thanks.

Could anyone with a 98+ accord tell me what engine mount/braket you use for your H22?

Further down from areyouasian's article, jeff652 stated another way in regards to that mount: " In regards to the top driver mount, there is an easier way. Re-use the Accord "arm" as above, but rather than making a bracket, simply drill a hole through the H22 engine mount bracket (the part that bolts to the block) and insert a long bolt (a suspension bolt is the perfect length) and put a nut on the bottom. Tha Accord 'arm' acts as a template for the drill bit so the hole is gauranateed to line up perfect. Once installed this way, it will hold without any problems."

the 97+ prelude bracket you were referring to was for the power steering pump.

I have not done the swap myself, but I hope this helps.

Thanks bro.

See I'm using the F23 engine mounts, and jeff652 is talking about the H22 engine mount bracket. I heard about this, and I'm wondering which bracket he is refering to. Is it the 97+ engine mount bracket, or the 92-96?

Thanks

I "have" one. As in, I am responsible for it as a project, I am tackling the motor mount issue right now, and may have some fabbed up, it looks like there may be interest.
