seems portable. 14.5 volt but only 5 amps max. how the hell will it jump a starter that draws amps in double digits?

 

You plug it in & wait 10 minutes for it to 'charge' your battery a little. I have no idea if it works. If you left your lights on I guess it would work. But if your battery has a bad internal short & it won't hold a charge, I'm pretty sure this thing won't work. Sometimes there's no substitute for jumper cables & another car...
