Difference between Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, and Air Temperature Sensor
What's the difference between the two on a honda accord 2000 ex. When I look up the parts, it seems it the same thing. Sorry I seem to be missing something. I thought the Air temperature sensor was at the back of the plenum or something. What's the official name of this one?
I got the honda heat soak problem, that's been plaguing me for 10+ years. Last ditch effort to try to fix it, and after some further research this is the only affordable thing left to try.

The coolant temperature sensor measures the temperature of the coolant. The air temperature sensor measures the temperature of the intake air.
It is called the Air Temperature Sensor - Honda Part Number - 37880-P0A-A02
Located on the opposite end of the upper intake plenum from the throttle body.
The Water Temperature Sensor (aka Engine Coolant Temperature sensor) is located under the distributor. Honda part Number - 37870-PK2-015.
