Default Day Light Running Lights Relay (under dash)

Hey, On my Accord I have a DRL relay under my dash...but for some reason its messing up on me really bad...took it apart and checked out the circuit board. Its prolly easy to replace it, but what happens if you just take it out completely? wire the wires together and take out the relay completely...is that safe, or is it gonna blow a fuse...or worse? Seems like I dont need this relay; because of it my high beams (Which i just spent 70 bucks on each bulb) dont work...has anyone bypassed this before?

Accord FAQ, look at the DRL relay fix link

And $70/bulb is asinine. You can pick up PnP HID kits for $50 shipped that are good quality. Silverstars are only like $40 from the store for both as well.

i was looking to re-wire the whole setup with new halo projector headlights with a HID kit from Spyder with 14k lights...180 for the HID kit for high beam and about 250 for the new halo projector headlights...but the relay is really starting to get to me, so i wanna bypass it...i'll look into the FAQ

thanks
