Audio Code doesn't work??
I finally found the card that has my the serial number and code for the stereo for my Honda Accord 99 V6. Alas, when i input the code, nothing seems to happen...the E-Code message still appears. I am the original buyer with the original code...I needed a new battery this summer. after they installed it, my audio system started asking for the code.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

go to the dealer and show them the serial card. When they try (and it doesn't work) get mad and tell them you want it corrected and tell them you want an oil change for the hassle

no need to go back to the dealer who installed your stuff, just disconnect the positive cable for a good 5 minutes, the connect it back and start the car, punch in the code and your good to go. its a common mistake that people make with honda's, very smart system but they neglect to tell owners that if the battery is changed that there is a delay period for the ECU to reset

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you.
unplugging the battery and letting it sit for 5 minutes and then putting in the code worked like a charm!
