another D4 problem.
Ive got the normal D4 issue (tranny limp mode) had to change a few engine parts on my 92 ex to get the cel to go away.
well tranny is still in limp mode. shift lock works when it wants and........
if i put the key in run position with engine off. the D4 goes away or is dim after a bit... but gets bright if I hit the gas pedal.
anyone ever hear of this before? is the gas pedal connected electronically to trans or tcu?
oh and just another thing I noticed. while resetting the ecu etc again this morning. theres noise under the dash behind the cluster. it has to do with the shift lock. and heres the kicker.... if I hit brake with car not running but in run I cant get out of park but if I hit the gas there is an audible click and I can shift out of park...
any ideas?
