afc vtec 2 controller?
i just bought this afc vtec 2 controller for my 98 accord v6. i was wondering what is the best setting for vtec to kick in? any one wit the same car? any suggestion would be appreciated. thanks
there's no universal rule, but most people like to set it a tad lower, see if you like it.
one and best advice is to get it tuned on dyno.
don't just spend 2-3 bills on a upgrade and be not really sure it's make power or not

I have mine set at 400rpm i belive, only casue i run a turbo on my accord and do not want all the power at once. I Use the turbo till that RPM then bam vtec a littel extra bit of boost.
hey, since 98 and 99 accord v6 dont have knock sensor , would it still be possible to use on my accord. this info i found out on the vafc 2 controller : The controller, which includes a knocking meter, allows the monitoring of knock levels check keeping the engine under its optimum condition at all times. (Vehicle must have a factory knock sensor).
