The climate control green lights and the gauge cluster are the only dash lights that work, the stereo lcd screen or whatever it is has no lighting however you can vaguely make out the numbers and letters. I only have 24 hours to fix this problem any help in diagnosing would be much appreciated.

How many miles does it have on it. If you PM me your VIN I'll run it because they had a warranty extension for that problem. I'll see if it applies to your car.

It involves replacing the circuit board inside the audio unit so unless a dealer has one in stock and can get you in today 24 hours probably ain't going top happen.

My roomate's accord seems to be experiencing this issue as well. I think her accord is an '03 or '04. Her stereo won't light up and neither will any of the climate controls. I checked all the fuses and couldn't find anything abnormal. Was there a recall for this?

 

There was no recall. If the car is under warranty or Honda of America approves a goodwill repair to replace the circuit board, then it is covered.

There was an extended warranty on it for 7 years or 105,000 miles.
