All motor h22 accord or boost
I want to get my car to break into the 13.My last run was a 14.5. I was thinking that if i get good traction and get aleast 210whp I should be able to to do this. As of now i have 188whp. Would it be wise to continue with this or to get a turbo and put it on the stock motor.

if all you are wanting to do is run 13's then stay all motor. If you are wanting to go faster than that, its going to take a lot more money to do it NA than it would boost, however, a properly built NA engine will likely last longer than a stock motor with boost trying to go faster than 13's. If you build the motor for boost + turbo kit, plan on spending more than an NA build.

It's the power to weight ratio that your looking for
Shed as much weight as you can, It's a lot cheaper.
Yeh, let us know what you've done so far. Maybe there's something to be done yet...
Accords: I love 'em. But often it's more like "The Fat and the Furious" for the amount of weight it has to haul around.

Hahahahahaha mad funny hahahah! idk what is it about accords tho but i like it better than a civic, when you go in an accord and in a civic (both 97) u do feel the difference, in the accord u feel that u are more in a real car than in a toy car but the civic its like so simple that it makes me feel like if its just a toy car or something :X IDK, but even tho they are heavier they are way more comfortable than a civic :X to my opinion...

I'm sure there are members here who can easily help you but you do need to provide specifics. If anything go over to the CD squad thread and you'll DEFINETLY find all the info you need from VERY knowledgable people.

There's a guy on another Honda forum that has a 13.9 second all motor H22A4 Accord. It's a 1994 DX Sedan, full interior, but he's spent untolds amount of money getting it to that point, and short of a stroker kit it's pretty much maxxed out.
I'm no H22 expert, but I know that sleeving is pretty much a must on the H22 on anything other than light boost due to the thin sleeves.
Eitherway, you're looking at money.

H22 All motor/ Boost ANSWER!
Boosting an H22 engine (stock) will only allow 6 psi with out blowing a piston ring or worse. (beats the whole idea of putting turbo in your vehicle) If you still decide to go boost, Get the block sleeved, then you can run a higher psi.
Working on H22 and H23 engines for 2 years now. Best bet is all motor.

h22 are made of frm material or frp something like that. anyways the sleeves aren't so much of the the problem. its the pistons. they can't take the pressure. its been argueed over and over what give on a stock motor when boosting. from the pistons, to the ringlands, to the block, the cams. mahle makes piston different compression pistons that are made to work with a stock h22 and you don't have to resleeve. now if your going higher than lets say 12psi, then yeah your better off re-sleeving. the key will be your tuning though. if you have access to a great tuner, see what they are comfortable with as far as limits. if you have a med to low quality tuner, leave room for error for your tuning. an accord will always be heavier than a civic. all motor accords will take loads of money if your trying to be time. if you do hit your time mark, you'll get thirsty for more power and you should have boosted instead. as metioned power to weight ratio is huge. don't under estimate it
h22 all motor civic>h22 all motor accord.
h22 all motor civic>h22 all motor accord.
