97' Accord 4dr SE coolant leak help.
Before I get started recently our car started too overheat one fine afternoon. Then I noticed that the car was leaking coolant, but only when the car was in idle or parked and shut off. Its a 97' Accord 4dr SE Automatic. From the a quick glance it looks as if its leaking from the passenger side, so left side of the radiator. I'm aware that automatics have 2 coolant hoses along with the upper and lower main hoses. Could I have just sprung a leak or could this be a water pump issue?

Where is the puddle located? The passenger side of the car has 3 radiator hoses. The main hose to the radiator, upper radiator hose below the dizzy, and one from the bottom of the radiator to the firewall. It's possible you have a pin size hole in one of the hoses. They are very difficult to see and find. As suggessted, you can rent a pressure tester from your local auto store or take to mechanic to test for you. If doing this yourself, make sure after topping radiator and over flow, to bleed out air when car is running. Bleeder valve is located at thermostat. It's behind and to the left of your vtec solenoid. It looks like a nipple. Good luck.
