LOL..So by me having the REAL ones they are potentially worth more. But somebody willing to pay for the real legit ones will be harder to find. You can def tell the difference when they are put next to each other. But I understand on why people would buy the fakies. I just don't roll that way.

True. I had some JDM OEM clear ones before but I was over them and they didn't even fit all that great. So I got rid of them for these. Now I am pretty much over the whole car so I am putting the stock ones back in.

Pretty much... Im not an jdm junkie though. Die hard guys will put this **** on they're car and never be able to park it anywhere because of the stress along with it.

I daily drive my **** and wouldnt wanna go out knowing i gave somebody $200 corners with my car because it makes it just that much worth they're while for stealing it in the first place....

If it flows well, and is of decent quality... Ill rock it. Seriously they're plastic corners. Unless they are completely industructable in the event of an accident... SAME - SAME imo.. (in which they are) a shade of color here or there with a stamp doesnt mean shyt to me lol.

I have better things to spend my money on these days. I coudnt justify spending that much myself on corners.

Reals go for 200+.. Fakes go for 40.. And there are ways to tell if they are fake or not.... u can't tell just from them saying vision on them haha..

 

I understand why people rock the fake parts, I am just saying I am not one of those people and I really never have been. I am not knocking anybody for it either as I can see where you are coming from.

I also daily drive my car and I don't worry about it at all. That's what I have full coverage for. I never worried about my EM1 either. I just don't care enough I guess.

insurance companies hardly cover anything on our cars... They're only worth so much due to age its real easy for them to salvage them depending on your mileage and what not..

Id like a set of clears myself but being im using stock tails, stock stanley amber markers id have to get all clear ****, and i dont even wanna head down that road anymore where i gotta change 2 other things to make the the third look right.

I totally understand where you're coming from BUT

they're corner lights... whether you pay $200 for REAL vision vs $40 for knock off vision, they do the exact samething, let light through when you turn ur turn signal on

performance parts are another story..

anyway, not trying to start an argument or say your right/wrong of visa versa, but personally, i just can't justify (whether the money is an issue or not) paying $200 for corners when knock off do the same thing with the same fitment *shrugs*

I just bought some ebay ones that fit fine, they aren't even vision or knock offs... fit fine but an analogy level

picked up my F/F Type 1 coilovers... couldn't justify an additional $400 for the Type2s for the ability of adjustability when I don't even autoX

anyway, just joinin the convo, again i'm NOT trying to spark any fires, just adding my 2¢

I have the clear ones...my first coupe came with them. Didn't even realize what they were till 2 years later when I was moving cause I took them off originally for ambers.

I couldnt agree more. Its all in personal preference. All in all id prefer having the extra money in my pocket for a tank of gas, or more parts.

I'll run fake knockoffs all day long on my EJ1...no problem...less investment if it gets stolen.

My bimmer...different story...all OEM or real deal. Only knock off I'll ever run are some BBS LM reps because I can't justify spending $4500 on a set of wheels before tires (another $1200+)

 

i have no idea if my visions are real or fake lol. i have had them for about 3 years now and dont know how to tell the difference
