i might not even use the struts on my cf hatch . without the glass in it , it honestly took some strength to hold the hatch down

is this different then a 99-00 one? if not i have one you can have for free.

 

ya its different . i have a 99-00 and it doesnt fit my cf hatch . what a pain!

What kind and where did you get it from?

 

seibon from weksos. those guys always treat ats good . but the fitment sucks , they modeled it from a 96-97(98 latches are the same as 99-00) etc

97. I did not have t odrill the holes either. pre drilled and wing fitted on there perfect
