dynojet from sat

dynopack from today - thin lines = new tune RUN TO 9K IS NEW TUNE!!!

real rich - a/f taken from exh tip which is leaner than actual (red/blue/green = new tune)

guess I should have taken it to the track to see which is actually better lol

I will get ekk2 mounts & build a k24 block before I get rid of this car - it has sentimental value

since you already have the billet pieces from the e1, just buy the brackets from suprfast on k20a.org..its lie 200 bux haha super cheap and so worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!! my axles are almost straight with the ekk2

damn its prolly going to happen to you again. your going to build a k24 block switch to ekk2 mounts still break axles and still retune your car cause your not please with the results. you havent even taken this car to the track yet. damn i'm happy with my final dyno results i didnt know why you had to retune your car from your last tune cause 229 hp for k20a is really good. what more do you want out of this motor. stock comp is 11.5 already. have you done any changes to the cams??? if i were you right now i would stick to what you got and boost it if you want more power.

lol there was no more tune from 229whp... I just threw in on a dynopack so tuner could see the tq curve...I was very happy with the results that I saw on dynojet but \/
I didn't want anymore & was expecting to see less horsepower...go reread my previous post... where dynojet showed mid to top gains from previous tune dynopack showed loses... same cal was used for baselines & same cal for full tunes
reading > you
on a good side BOTH dynos showed the gains from moving vtec from 4K to 3K
lol... but thats it
tune #1
1320 dynojet 220 whp
local dynopack 214 whp
tune #2
1320 dynojet 229.82 whp
local dynopack 206 whp
I had expected to see gains on dynopack where I saw them with dynojet... maybe I will stop dyno'ing all together

dynojet numbers will always read higher than dynopack/mustang dynos/dyno dynamics. dynojets measure how fast the wheel spins to calculate HP, so when changing from a 16inch wheel to a 14inch wheel a dynojet will show hp gains.

FOR THE LAST TIME - ITS NOT ABOUT THE DYNOPACK BEING LOWER NUMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!
ITS ABOUT THE DYNOPACK SHOWING A LOSS OF POWER WHERE THE DYNOPACK SHOWED A GAIN between 2 calibration files (with exception of 4-5K gains made by moving vtec from 4k to 3k.... ) only changes made where a/f, spark, cam angles
edit -
BTW history on dynopack
base ITR cal - 201.4 whp
partial tune - 214.1 whp
full tune - 206 whp
look at a/f... I bet if I lean it out all the missing power will come back... the graphs are all right there but nobody cares to read them or what I am typing
peace I am out
hahaha ekk2 Brackets for $200 here I come
