my **** is completely painted already!! just finished the clearcoat today...cant wait till tomorrow or monday when i start wetsanding that **** for another coat of clear! LOL

Bad luck since week one. Mostly little ****.

 

i've also had a lot of bad luck in the last few weeks.. first my daily driver quits on me.. so i have to daily my EK..

then my axle craps out, so i change it to a rebuilt one on thursday.. then on my way to norcal it decides to crap out.. so here i am waiting for my friend to drop off a used OEM axle, so i can put it in and hopefully drive back to socal tomorrow afternoon.

also, one of my power window wires kept on grounding out, so one of my switches is completely dead.. and my windshield got hit by a rock on the freeway, which left a nice 6" long crack, right under the ek squad sticker.

 

shut up ryan you ****** . i told you to fix your volvo!!! lazy ****

i can relate. everyday theres something new. too attached cant see someone else drive her away. i would say dont give up but after seeing your history w/ vehicles i think you would eventually move on lol

i've been working on my datsun 510 for almost four years. lots of little stuff to worry about and lots of hard to trace parts. but remember, its a labor of love.

If I had two cars I wouldn't mind taking my time at all.

 

Toto has had patience like no other, and I know it's gonna pay off for him. I have personally been through 3 years of bullshit just to finally have a swapped car, but I'm glad I never gave up and stuck with it. Not to say that my car compares to many of yours, but it's all worth the patience and time/effort. Don't lose the faith Dut, you have an immaculant car to start with....don't give up on her!
