Crazy.

So yea, $3k on a turbo setup or $3k on a NA setup. I was thinking exactly what was mentioned above... PNP head, supertech valvetrain, and pro1 cams.

ITR B18C = red valve cover

red valve cover = Honda NA heritage.

NA DOHC VTEC @ 9,000+ RPM = Mechanical crack cocaine

If you do drag, turbo set up might be good idea budget/power wise.
but I believe on FF cars if you go over 400ps, unless you use big MT slicks, all that power is waste because you will not have enough traction, and with that MT slicks you will not be able to drive on the road.

Like I said all depends what you want to do.
Drag?
Road Race?
Highway?
Winding?
Cruise?
Daily?

Same here, except I hate coming out of a turn, looking down and seeing 9,800rpm.

<--- Noob with no racing seat, which makes it hard to modulate gas, brake, and the shifter since you have to brace yourself. Especially on the skid pad at the Streets of Willow.

NA can do all of these!!!!

So can boost, but only to a certain extent. Winding and road racing aren't a boosted FF car's strong points.

I came up with the analogy of VTEC @ 9,000 as mechanical crack right after driving an S2000 for the first time

Nothing like driving top down, my fro blowing in the wind, and hearing 120hp per liter scream at 9,000RPM

I almost liked driving the S2000 more than the NSX But the NSX I drove was a '91 5spd 3.0L.

I only drove with the top off (on my s2k) like once. I felt kinda gh3y by myself. Hahaha.

pay more attention in turns to rpm. you might want to leave it a gear higher if you find yourself accelerating through it faster than you thought.

Before you spend any money on parts.
if you haven't done any track time, go to driving school and learn how to drive.

If it went a gear higher I wouldn't have accelerated very much at all considering I don't make power below 6k. I would have been able to shift fine if I had a good seat. I was literaly being thrown up against my door, lol.
