I run only toyo t1R's. i absolutely love them. I'd run a 205/50/15.

I roll 215-45-15 T1-R's and I love them. They are the same height as a 195-50, but the width of a 215. I have no rubbing issues at all, check em out on my old MR5's

The grip on them is amazing, about the same as the T1-S's. They basically just wanted to make the tire quieter, when the T1S's wore down they sounded like friggin Super Swamper's goin down the road. So they redesigned the shoulders to prevent the feathering wear pattern, they have more of a solid shoulder but they still drain water very well. Just an all around kick *** tire, and they should last longer with the beefier shoulder design over the T1-S.

You would suggest the most expensive street/race tire there is.

Highest overall rated tire for street/race use by whatever magazine did that tire comparison. Forgot which one

Beat the new and old azenis as well as every other tire in this bracket.

Price tag backs up the rating though. Personally, the toyo t1r was the best tire I have raced on so far.

Nice tread wear, sticks really well, and very well in rain/water too. Wasn't too bad in the snow either

So far it's just been an auto-x, occasional drag, and mostly daily driver thing.
