Not a whole lot. Moving into a new place soon, just got back from a funeral in Delaware ... sick as a dog from lack of sleep and 4 flights of recycled coughing.

But the car is doing well.

I had a single flight from Bahrain to Jacksonville, FL

 

Yeah. It was only 2 flights PER TRIP .... but here's how the itinerary went:

Wake up at 6am for work on Wednesday.
Get call at 5pm at work saying "Hey, funeral is tomorrow."
Drive home, buy a ticket, leave at 7pm.
Get on plane at 10pm at Seattle (PST).
Land in Detroit at 5am (CST).
Leave for Philly at 7am (CST).
Arrive in Philly at 8:30am (EST).
Changed, had breakfast, went to funeral at 11:30am (EST).
Went from funeral to the commitment ceremony at the veteran's cemetery.
Went from cemetery to another church for a wake.
Got home and went to sleep at 8pm EST.
Woke up at 3am EST.
Got on a plane for Cincinnati at 6am EST.
Landed at 8am EST.
Left for Seattle at 9am EST.
Landed in Seattle at 11am PST.



From there, we went and drove around for six hours to different rental agencies looking at houses .... but we finally found one!

 

What happened with the condo? I missed that news.

 

The douchebag owner rented it to his friend instead of us .... we were perfectly qualified for it, but the "friend" is paying $200 a month more, and makes like $95K a year and lives alone.

[freak], if I was making $95K, I'd <u>buy</u> one of the SEVEN OTHER UNITS they have for sale rather than snake it out from two working class kids just trying to find a nice place to live.

 

What a douchebag, the both of them.

 

2 flight trip sucks.

found out yesterday that my niece in NC passed away from cancer. after this weekend's funeral, there's another next week. sad times. spending 3k in plane tickets for one month hurts too
