Considering you can buy the piece o' **** replica's brand new for $300 or somethin like that, and since Mark didn't clean off all the oils before firing it, I bet you could only get maybe $2-250 shipped for it

Does it have John's flange on it?

If you put a little bit of work into it I'm sure you could get more $$$ fot the piece. Brewer has done a bunch of experimenting with different chemicals to get different colors outta the steel, pm him and see if he'll share some secrets.

John is the owner/maker of Hytech. Does the flange have "Hytech" engraved into it?

i have an OG hytech tri y that i bought from RC_Lyle... the header is in 95% mint condition, meaning there are NO scrapes to be seen... altho it has some cosmetic oil marks on it but who cares... it's legit w the OG flange as well... paid $600, and would pay the same again for one in as good of shape for sure

drive safely. My hatch is still at nurburgring. I killed the hatch at the track. The place were they towed it to is still trying to find what went wrong. I think I hit a curb with the oil can and dumped all the oil on the track. I will now more later today.

I hope everything is OK with your hatch, because when I phoned them and I told them I called for the civic the first question I got was "are you from Norway"

actuelly no, I'm used when I drive on a track to 'use' the curbstones to enter and exit a turn. At nurburgring some of these curbs are 50cm high and real car killers. It was also my first time at this track and there are a lot of blind corners due to the hight differences in the track.

I was amazed by the forces that work on the car during the really fast parts with the hight differences in the track. There are moments that you really feel the car being pushed to the asfalt. Never felt that on any other track
