It's because they're made of thick aluminum and the studs on the oem endlinks are too short to fit them. you need to use spherical endlinks.

Yea, that Bomex wing is pretty horrible...
it's a sad day when one of these cars goes down due to unforseen factors that are beyond our control. kelvin's hatch has become an icon in the local bay area, ca community. his dedication to his build and evolution of the car has stood the test of time. my deepest condolences kels and i'm glad you and your girl are safe.
