nisei was great overall and we had fun but damn it was hot

i took home 2nd place in the HONDA class
our ATS CEO ferd took home 1st place in the EF class with his kahaki ef hatch
Jeremy from RedZone took home JDM showoff with his authentic DB8 ITR

we were happy norcal came home with some wins

i'm not sure about that, unless he cut out the welded in cage that dan had.. could be wrong though.

I don't think it is Dan's old car.......but I do know by looking at the car it is not as good as the candy pink EK, you can eat off that car!....the blue car looks like it was rushed.....the shave job, brake lines, and fuel filter/guage setup did not look up to par with any of the other cars that were at the show.....

The intake is an off the shelf 3inch steel 90 degree bend used for exhaust piping....

the blue one is Lenords(sp) daily driver......and it is not Dan's Shell....he still has his car...

i still think it's cool, because unlike the thin side mouldings it requires more effort/$$$ so therefore it's not as common... at least amoung us mere mortals with DD ek's that is...

please excuse the poor craftsmanship. you can't compare it to my pink one, cus this blue sucks pretty bad.
i planned for the car to be a simple build.
Lenthrax built
thats my daily driver, so i cut lots of corners. can't have 2 full blown show cars.
i've been having that other EK for about a year and a half, and recently decided to flip it.
everything was last minute,
just barely finished installing the NSX brakes at 2 am 8/18. then straight to the show.
not even a test drive. lol
painted 2 weeks ago.
dan one^g did a quick wetsand and buff before we took off
tuned last thursday.
exhuast last thursday.
wheels last friday.
ghetto intake, soon to be replaced with a aluminum piece
ghetto fuel setup
and messed up k-pro, so i had to pull the ECU off of the pink one to get it down there, and push the pink one in and out.
I'm just glad it made it smoothly out there.
i just wanted the Blue one to be a quick job, i don't expect to go into deep details with this one.
it looks good and it'll serve its purpose.
