looks good, now throw the lip in the trash lol. i think i've only seen ONE EG/EJ ever that had that lip that pulled it off (In my opinion, of course)

whats up guys,

recently bought my ej1. im loving it, despite the many problems ive had so far, im still working on it, getting back to 100%.

heres what it looked like when i got it... paid 1400 for it as it is in those pictures



but now, i have put a stock looking muffler on it to quiet it down, stock front and rear bumpers on it. put a clutch in it, new brakes all around along with rear calipers, aluminum radiator, and alot of time. but now for the bad... it needs a motor now... i was coming down 95 with the bypass hose let go, i had no temp guage, heard no noise, and noticed nothing until i saw a puff of smoke when i let off the gas and thats when it died. tried to start, and i had noooo compression... gave it overnight, and it started up and ran half decent, been driving it like that for a week now rofl... the little z6 is hurtin haha, compression test read good cold didnt do it hot, but found water in #1, so the head or headgasket is done...

so right now, im waiting on parts to come in, and i should have atleast the bottom end together this weekend.

ill get the new pics up when i get the camera back from my sister who janked it...

sexy i take it thats the cf mugen lip right? do you have any problems with it scrapping? i want them so bd but am afriad it'd crack in like a day. I have G.C.'s adjusted all the way down and riding on the stock 14's ...just to give you an idea

 

yea that's a cf mugen lip.. i've cracked it so many times... it's still all in one piece jus scrapped up pretty bad.

but yea, the lip will not break off if ur driving dumped... but it will scrape and scratch the cf. i still have that cf mugen lip but im rockin the poly Spoon one now. if u really worry and dont wanna mess up cf lips jus go for a polyurethane
