Also, when your fuel gauge has just started to read empty you have about a gallon left as a reserve.

 

 

i filled mine from empty.. and i mean empty where it takes like 10 cranks to start the car. and it cost me about 52 bucks.. so that was about 50L if that helps. never thought they were that big.

Service manual says 11.9 gallons. I know for a fact that mine has at least the capacity to hold 11.4 gallons, but thats as empty as i've gotten it.
