Default How to Change A Master Cylinder

How to Change A Master Cylinder:

Take the cap off.
Take out the middle bolt, and use a small container to catch the brake fluid.
After that take some <insert specialty brake bolt wrench's> and remove the brake lines.

Once those are off unbolt these two bolts.

Pull it off and put the new one on.
Reconnect your brake lines.
Pour new DOT3 DOT4 DOT5 into the basin.

Bleed the entire system.

Congragulations your done.

Do not drain like this FYI!

Yeh, I figured it would be a good precautionary step to prevent any air bubbles.
Regular line bleeding is usually enough, but I didn't wanna take any chances.

I like whoring my car out.

Some pics may not make sense.
Why I need a half size rad and lower crossmember.
How much room you get when you relocate the bat.
And my ****** looking ***.
Also how to run a CAI on our cars. (take out that plastic jug thingy)

You forgot to mention to bleed new MC's before installing it on the booster and bleeding thr system.

Do the following...

Place the MC on a vice and fill it with the brake fluid you will be using (NEW Brake fluid).

Run two lines from each brake inlet/outlet into the reservoir bottle and submerge them down into the fluid.

Then, like the mighty warrior you are, gently press the piston in and let it out. This will cause internal bubble to escape into the reservoir can out of the internal MC shaft.

Repeat the latter step until no bubbles are seen or heard. HA!

Done. Install it and bleed system.

That cold air setup is cool, but what happens in the rain?? You will suck up water like a sumbitch.
